This is an exciting follow up about the IASIS machine! And this is info that is relayed from Dr. Shallenberger's newsletter.
The VA set up a pilot study looking at 6 veterans suffering from TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) / PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). They all had MEG's. An MEG is a MagnetoEncephaloGram. An MEG machine is an MRI scanner that has been re-wired to show which nerves are firing between which parts of the brain.
So, these vets with PTSD/TBI had abnormal MEG scans before doing IASIS treatments.
They did two IASIS treatments a week for 6 weeks. So, what happened?
All 6 responded with improvement in their symptoms, and their response correlated with changes seen on the MEG machine.
This is exciting on several levels! A successful pilot study will open the door for more, structured studies!
In my practice, I have had two young ladies who have responded to the IASIS treatments for their TBI after a car wreck.
There have aslo been two young men in high school who had one "lights out" concussion too many. Both went from being productive "A" students to failing "F" students. After IASIS treatments, they are back to being "A" students.
